India's Zee TV Network, plans to launch a new Internet-over-cable service in September.

The official launch ceremony will be held in Bangalore, were the service is already running on a trial basis. Delhi will be the next city to connect.

Zee operates the nation's largest cable network branded Siticable, and has access to five million households, making it a potential heavyweight competitor in the broadband sector. -(World IT Report)
