Plasma Tv Buyers Guide

So much to see at the ER Show - Electrical Retailing Show - Brief Article - Buyers Guide - Bibliography - Case Note

This year's Electrical Retailing Show is getting bigger and better as more and more industry names join the growing list of exhibitors. And there's promise of lots of new product launches and unveilings this year, plus many exciting new products which have never been seen before in the UK.

White, black, silver and platinum seem to be the popular kitchen colours for 2002, with products becoming more curved and sculptured.

In home entertainment, brown goods are getting thinner, lighter and more sophisticated.

Around 90 exhibitors will be at the Show, exhibiting the very latest smart technology products for the home, internet kitchen appliances, new technology TVs, DVDs and LCD-TVs and amazing new developments in home entertainment and audio systems.

See entire `internet' kitchen ranges and the latest `smart' home appliances in full action at the Show, both on stands and in the ER Show Smart Home.

See, too, the world's first DVD player with integrated hard disc which can playback and record, the world's largest TFT LCD display and the world's smallest upright digital camcorder, and a `talking' VCR. Also new is the first 2000W vacuum cleaner, which adjusts its power as it cleans. It even has a `twister' to collect any large or valuable objects before they get sucked into the bag!

White Goods

On show will be new ranges of super energy rated fridge-freezers, the latest mini fridges, frost-free cooling products and the newest side-by-side American style fridge-freezers including a digital multimedia model with LCD display, and one of which lets you chill food and drinks at different temperatures.

There's also a "stunning" blue fridge which is said to be the style of the future!

See new lines in home laundry from the `intelligent' washing machines and the latest direct drive models which claim to give a better wash, through to the new `Big Wash' machine which cleans the biggest and bulkiest household items.

There are new ranges of electric, mixed fuel and gas cookers and hobs, dishwashers and lightwave microwaves, plus lots that's new in small kitchen appliances.

Brown Goods

Retailers and their staff will be able to see the very latest in digital sound and vision!

There'll be new technology LCD-TVs which combine all the benefits of a computer monitor with a TV, the new WEGA plasma flat panel TV, and widescreen and plasma TVs.

Plus there'll be a whole host of new slimline DVD players on show, both recordable and portable, and a new range of lightweight DVD players for the youth market which have special reversible inlays.

See the latest home theatre systems and home entertainment systems, DVD-Audio products and MP3 players, including one which claims to be 100% skip proof, and check out a new range of state-of-the-art home entertainment furniture which fits neatly into corners.

There's the next generation in MiniDisc on show, too, and the latest in-car hard disc system.

Smalls

Small appliances and floorcare are well represented with cordless and bagless vacuum cleaners being launched, sweepers, air purifiers, humidifiers and steam products, as well as chrome fans and character telephones.

There's also a huge number of retail services and computer software products.
