Inside Track; Maria talks tigers . . . as bro Tim stalks the SoxGAYLE FEE Red Sox prez Larry Lucchino's lovey-dovey relationship with Maria Shriver was Terminated by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
But Larry's still so buddy-buddy with Maria's little bro, Tim, that he gave his filmmaking friend an all-access pass to the team last year.
The result being "Still, We Believe," the two-hour Soxumentary about the agony and ecstasy of the 2003 season that debuted in Boston the other night and opens in local theaters Friday.
"It was the end of the 2002 season and we were at Camden Yards," team spokesguy Charles Steinberg told the Track. "And Tim, who's been close to Larry since he and Sargent Shriver were part-owners of the Orioles, introduced him to Bob Potter, his friend who did a documentary on the Manchester United."
Tim, who produced "Amistad" and some TV flicks, and Bob ultimately convinced Larry that a documentary about the Sox, seen through the eyes of rabid fans, would be a home run.
"But it was September of 2002. Who knew how the next season would work out,?" Steinberg said. "It was a leap of faith."
But then again, EVERY YEAR is a leap of faith in Red Sox Nation!

Vineyard songbird Carly Simon couldn't have been Anticipating the tongue-lashing she got from Ed Schlossberg, the husband of Caroline Kennedy, at Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis' wake!
Ed Klein, author of the latest Kennedy tome, "Farewell Jackie," said Schlossberg caused quite a commotion at the late first lady's wake when he scolded Simon for placing a scroll containing the lyrics to a song she had written on top of Jackie O's casket.
"Carly was one of Jackie's closest friends," Klein told the Track. "After she died, Carly showed up at the wake with some presents to put on Jackie's coffin. But after she put the scroll on the casket, Ed Schlossberg came over and read her the riot act!"
Schlossberg told the "You're So Vain" singer, "We're very angry with you, Carly. You have to take those things off the casket. It's only for the grandchildren."
Jackie's son-in-law didn't stop there. He told Simon she had been "intrusive" and committed a "faux pas," reducing the singer to tears.
"Everyone was shocked by the way Schlossberg behaved," Klein said. "He has apparently assigned himself the task of being Caroline's bodyguard, advance man, protector and all-around pain in the neck. All Carly was trying to do was show her deep sense of loss and sadness in an entirely appropriate way."
Klein's book is on the shelves now. Check it out.
Stop the presses!
** WGBH's blockbuster home improvement staple "This Old House" will celebrate its 25th anniversary season by buying and restoring a Greek Revival-style farmhouse in Carlisle. "TOH" big guys Norm Abram, Tom Silva, Rich Tethewey and Roger Cook - for the first time - will take on apprentices to help transform the tired farmstead into a modern home. After the last nail is hammered the house will open to the public for a limited time as a designer show home. Then it will be sold and the proceeds will go to a scholarship for the building arts.
** Congrats to Marathon Man Dave McGillvray and his wife, Katie, who are the proud parents of future runner Elle Kathryn. Little Elle crossed the finish line at 7 pounds, 13 ounces.
** Finally, more congrats to Sharon Seabury of NetTeks Technology Consultants and her husband, Bob, who owns Tavern on the Water in Charlestown. They just welcomed TWO new additions to the family, twins Samantha and Madeline.
