Mad Tv Clips
A mad, mad worldTricia Garner The emotional highs and lows, the busted brackets--no one can blame you if college basketball season becomes one big blur by the time March Madness is over. Now you can test your knowledge of what really happened, and what was just wishful thinking, with Snap TV's NCAA Basketball DVD Trivia Challenge.
The game is played on a regular DVD player. Each round tests two participants--home and away teams--on five questions each. The questions draw from the past 30 years and range from the simple ("What does a 'pull-up J' refer to?") to the trickier ("How many times was Len Bias the ACC Player of the Year?."). Actual game clips are played before and after each question.
There are some cheesy lines here and there ("The basket is referred to as the 'hole' in street terms," intones the oh-so-serous voice-over), but the game highlights provide a fun trip down memory lane. And there's a good mix of questions to make the game interesting for everyone from casual to hardcore hoops fans. One standout category is "You're the ref"--you're shown an actual play from a game and asked to make the correct call. NCAA Basketball DVD Trivia Challenge is priced at $24.95 and can be purchased at snaptvgames.com or at speciality retailers.
