No sticking pictures with 50in LG - Products - LG Electronics rolls out 50-in plasma widescreen TV - Brief Article ALTHOUGH it will not sit well on a plasterboard partition, LG Electronics is adding a 50in plasma widescreen display to its award winning Flatron range.
Capable of receiving pictures from a PC [VGA-SXGA) DVD Drive [Digital RGB Input), Camcorder (S-Video) or Amplifier [video or S-video, component and RGB), the screen sports a contrast ratio of 600:1.
The screen--called the MZ-50PX42--also comes with the option of interchangeable front frames.
The true flat display boasts a viewing angle of 160 degrees, making it useful for large audiences, and the peak brightness is cited as being 620cd/[m.sup.2]. The monitor also features picture-in-picture display, allowing two different inputs to be shown on screen simultaneously.
The display also comes complete with Image Sticking Prevention Mode reducing the likelihood of pictures burning the display screen. The display operates at a low volume 24dB.
