InterVideo(R), Inc. (Nasdaq:IVII) announced today new software licensing agreements with six of Taiwan's leading multimedia manufacturers. Under the agreements, InterVideo will provide customized versions of InterVideo Home Theater to Asustek Computer Inc. (ASUS), Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. (MSI), AOpen, Shuttle, Inc., Kworld Computer and Provideo Multimedia Co., Ltd. for their next-generation multimedia products. The new partners will be showcasing their products at Computex Taipei 2004 June 1 to June 5, giving InterVideo a strong presence at this major annual IT event in Asia.
InterVideo Home Theater offers a wide range of digital entertainment options that enable manufacturers to select the features that will best differentiate their products. With all of the options selected, InterVideo Home Theater provides a complete digital entertainment solution for watching and recording TV programs, viewing DVDs/VCDs, creating personal music libraries and producing photo slideshow. Equipped with an easy-to-use interface, users can enjoy these capabilities on a PC or their living room TV using a PC or notebook. Remote control support gives consumers the flexibility to easily control Home Theater features while reclining in their favorite chair. To ensure high-quality playback, Home Theater includes InterVideo's powerful WinDVD(R) engine, one of the world's most popular software solutions for DVD playback on a PC.
