Hello once again and welcome back to this week's Graphics Card Price Watch. As we constantly update our databases and post new products, we are also changing our presentation format to better suit your needs. To make price comparisons for each product easier, we're including new columns for previous and current prices and the reflected change for the product category in the week. We've also added eight new products for the Matrox G550 and G450 chipsets. Keep checking back with us as we continue to update our database. As usual, comments on our listings are most welcome. We have incorporated our readers' suggestions in the past and will continue to do so in the future. So, feel free to post your comments.

ATI Radeon This week, the ATI Radeon chipset range showed the most price fluctuations. While prices increased and dipped by a couple of dollars, the price ranges themselves did not fluctuate wildly as seen in the past month or so. As always, we unfailingly point out the highs and lows in each product category. And so, occupying the highest spot price this week was the same All In Wonder 9700 Pro AGP 128MB DDR 2D/3D TV Out at $375, down from the last spot price of $377.95. At the lowest spot price was the same Radeon 9000 Pro AGP 64MB DDR 2D/3D w/TV Support at $79.97, up only slightly from the last spot price of $78.26. nVIDIA GeForce We wait and we wait for the GeForce FX cards to become available in stores. While some sites have started accepting preorders, we want to "see" them in retail stores. For the GeForce2 and GeForce4 product categories, we didn't see a whole lot of activity this week. So many of the product prices remained unchanged and a few were still unavailable in stores. However, Microstar's GeForce4 Ti4200 AGP 64MB DDR 2D/3D which was unavailable in stores last week is not retailing at a price of $135. And here are the highest and lowest prices for this category: Occupying the highest spot price this week was Albatron's GeForce4 Ti4600 AGP 128MB DDR 2D/3D at a spot price of $238, down from the last spot price of $249. At the lowest spot price was AOpen's GeForce2 MX400 AGP 64MB SDRAM 2D/3D at the same unchanged spot price of $35. See price table for nVIDIA GeForce

nVIDIA Other In our other nVIDIA product segment as well, a lot of product prices remained unchanged. This seems like a slow week for activity on Video Cards. At the highest spot price was Compaq's nVIDIA Quadro2 MXR (AGP) Graphics Controller at $306.24, up by a few dollars from the last spot price of $302.30. At the lowest spot price was Pine's nVIDIA RIVA AGP 32MB SDRAM TNT2 MM64 128BIT 300MHz RAMDAC retailing at the unchanged spot price of $25. See price table for nVIDIA Other

Matrox G550, G450 This week, we've added a new product segment featuring products in the Matrox G550 and G450 chipset range. The previous and current prices remain the same, since we're starting the products out this week. The next price watch will feature the previous and reflected price changes. And now, occupying the highest spot price for this product category was Compaq's G550 32MB Dual DVI, at $279. The lowest spot price was occupied by the Matrox Millenium G450 Dual Head 32MB at $79.
