ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- IQue to Demonstrate Line of Internet Protocol Broadcast Technologies at National Political Conventions in Boston and New York

IQue Intellectual Properties, Inc. (IQIP.PK), a broadcast engineering, design and manufacturing company with innovative solutions for streaming media content on the Web, announced today that its engineering personnel, including President William Baker, are constructing one of the largest remote television facilities on record for ABC NewsOne's clients covering the Democratic National Convention in Boston. ABC NewsOne's clients include ABC News, the British Broadcasting Company (BBC), Associated Press Television (APTN) and numerous national and international broadcasters.

IQue had key input in the technical design of the location facilities, and is overseeing certain ABC NewsOne assets and engineering personnel implementing the construction of remote broadcast facilities at the FleetCenter in downtown Boston.

"Our broadcast engineering group is overseeing the construction and implementation of a very complex remote news broadcast facility designed especially for coverage of the Democratic National convention by ABC and its national and international clients. We're also putting the finishing touches on the designs for coverage at the Republican convention in New York," said IQue President and CEO William Baker. "Additionally, we will be providing cameras, switchers, production equipment, fiber-optic media converters, and other support equipment, personnel, and services to ABC NewsOne, as well as to their national and international clients."

IQue will leverage its relationship with ABC NewsOne to highlight its growing line of Internet Protocol (IP) solutions for the broadcasting market. "Once again we will be demonstrating our IP solutions to ABC at each of the conventions," said Baker. "We are well beyond 'proof of concept' for two of our products: high speed Internet and IP telephone service via digital satellite. The two conventions give us ample opportunity to display our leadership in these developing technologies."

IQue's agreement with ABC/Disney specifies that IQue will lease to ABC NewsOne operations the equipment necessary for successful news coverage by other national and international news organizations such as the BBC and APTN. The job is made especially complex this year because of the mixture of old and new technologies demanded by news organizations. Many organizations still rely on aging analog technology, while others require digital support from the camera to the satellite dish.
