Canon Digital Camera Battery Charger
Canon EOSD60 digital camera - New Tools for Summer 2002Sil Horwitz This camera was announced just two days before the big PMA photo and imaging show, and it certainly received attention there. This is a professional level, interchangeable lens SLR with digital imaging of 6 megapixels. That means it is capable of making a 14x18 inch print that is grainless without interpolation. It has a 3-point AF system, 3 illuminated viewfinder focusing points, and the ability to capture images simultaneously in RAW and JPEG formats (a valuable feature for photographers who need images both in a compressed format for online transmission, but also want a high-quality archive file for those big prints). As this is a camera in the EOS line, it has all the features of the film cameras, including the same lenses (except the image sensor is smaller than a film frame, so lenses have a 1.6x focal length conversion factor). Images are stored on Compact Flash card memory, which means, just by changing cards, memory is limitless. The camera comes equipped with a rechargeable lithiumion battery (BP-511) plus the charger. Definitely a camera for the professional and photo enthusiast. The price is between $2000 and $2500, depending on the retailer.
